Olympic games in Athens

Athens, Greece - Traveling over to Athens, Greece, Dwyane Wade had the special privilege to be to selected to USA Olympic team and to lodge aboard a luxury liner off the Greek coast.

The funniest part about his is that this luxury boat belongs to Miami Heat owner Mickey Arison, who happens to be Dwayne Wade's employer. You would assume that Dwyane Wade would be tampered with suite and more. Dwayne Wade's statement:" No, just a couple of extra pillows," he said. "I guess I didn't play hard enough last year."

You just got a glimpse of the typical Wade, the same self-deprecating ball player what became an All-American during his junior year at Marquette and then set the NBA afire as a rookie last season.

"Dwyane Wade? Dwyane Wade is going to be one of the best players in the NBA, if he isn't already," said fellow Olympian Lamar Odom. "It's limitless what he can become. He's one of the hardest match-ups in the NBA, and I'll tell you why. He's too quick for (shooting) guards and too big for point guards."

This statement might seem that a close friend is given his teammate more props than he deservers, however you won't find one voice in the NBA that does not agree that Dwyane Wade is on his way to becoming one of the brightest stars in the league.

"He's special," said U.S. head coach Larry Brown. "There is not an area in this game that he does not excel in, and there's not a possession that goes by that he doesn't want to get better."

Said U.S. assistant Gregg Popovich, "He's just going to get better and better. It's not that he just has the ability. He's coachable. He listens. He practices hard. And he's got a sense of humor. That's important.

"He doesn't get defensive when he gets criticized by coaches. He just does what you ask him to do. When you have that kind of perspective and drive, you can only get better. Players that don't have that stagnate. He won't have that problem. He'll move on."
