When Dwyane Wade was young he envisioned himself more of a football player, and all this changed with the influence of his older brother, Demetrius McDaniels.
Dwyane Wade gave up playing football, which was the # 1 sport at Richards High in Oak Lawn, Illinois, in his junior year and basketball. D-Wade Quote:"He was the best player at Richards. I saw that if he could do it, I could do it. I knew where I would make my money at one day. "I thought I was good. I thought I was real good. I thought I could have been in the NFL one day. But I decided to stick with basketball because that's where my love really was. I don't have any second thoughts, not with the position I'm in."
